Martha Ison Taylor, of Jeremiah, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at Hazard, Ky. Martha was the daughter of Burnett and Tina B. Ison. She was 86 years, 7 months, and 11 days at her passing.
Martha liked to cook, make quilts, and sit and watch the birds while enjoying her morning coffee and spending time her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband for 65 years: Jack Taylor of Jeremiah; three daughters: Teresa Maggard (David) of London, Ky., Jackie Caudill (David) of Letcher, and Judy Taylor of Jeremiah. Seven grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Charity, Lisa, Daniel, Steven, and Logan, and 12 great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Martha was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters and a granddaughter, Ashli.
Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Isom Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
