Hester Nell Hannah

Age 95, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her home. She was born June 17, 1924 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of Conrad Peter and Ruby (Holt) Jensen.

Nell served proudly as a military wife for 27 years until the time of her husband's retirement from the United States Air Force.

Because of being a WWII war time bride she was unable to complete her high school education, but in 2018 she was awarded an honorary diploma from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City for the class of 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Gideon Hannah and one son Samuel James Hannah.

Survivors include one son Alan Hannah and his wife Lisa of Little Rock, Arkansas; three daughters Karen Wilson and her husband Richard of Jackson, Tennessee, Lynda Goldman and her husband Mike of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Mary Freeman and her husband Bryan of Lincoln, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 24, 2019, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, there will be no graveside service held.
