Samuel Gideon Hannah, 86, of Lincoln died Oct. 25, 2007, at his home near Lincoln. He was born July 2, 1921, in Butler County, Ohio, to Curtis R. and Dorothy Mills Hannah. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Upon retirement his rank was chief master sergeant. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Vietnam Veterans of America.

He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel James Hannah.

He is survived by his wife Nell Hannah of the home; a son, Alan Hannah of Texarkana; three daughters, Karen Wilson of Jackson, Tenn., Lynda Goldman of Fletcher, N. C., and Mary Freeman of Lincoln; a brother, Curtis Hannah of Fairfield, Ohio; a sister, Gwen Keeler of Oxford, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Goldman, Bryan Freeman, Daniel Freeman, Sam Hannah, Joe Wilson, Mike Craig and Richard Craig.

LINCOLN -- Samuel G. Hannah, 86, of Lincoln died Oct. 25, 2007, in Lincoln. Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Samuel Gideon Hannah, 86, of Lincoln died Oct. 25, 2007, at his home near Lincoln. He was born July 2, 1921, in Butler County, Ohio, to Curtis R. and Dorothy Mills Hannah. He was a veteran of the U.
