Mrs. Ann Wilson Crawford, age 78, wife of Donald Crawford of 1023 Meansville Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Union, October 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Wallace and Sara Koon Wilson. She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Milliken and Co., Cedar Hill Plant after 35 years. Mrs. Crawford attended Beulah Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Becky Compton and husband Tim of the home; a son, Donnie Crawford and wife Debbie of Buffalo; a sister, Edith Faucette and husband Harold of Aiken; three brothers, Evans Wilson of Union, George Wilson and wife Karen of Moore and Charles Wilson and wife Karen of Greenwood; six grandchildren: Nikki Cohen, Jamie Cohen and wife Shanna, Brandon Cudd, Katie Marvin, Jennifer Compton, and Rebecca Compton; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Foster, Abby Jenkins, Matthew Troy Cohen and Liliana Cohen. Mrs. Crawford was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Matthew Cohen; two sisters, Elizabeth Bobo and Jane Bobo; and three brothers, Albert Wilson, Sam Wilson, and Ernest Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Randall, Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Bob Catoe. Burial will be at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Moore, Joe Moore, Jimmy Sykes, Sammy Wilson, Frank Bobo, Jr., and Jamie Cohen.
The following are asked to form the honorary escort: Kathy Stone, Jean Capps, Patti Rice, Joyce Moore, Louvina West and Rev. Gerald and Tammy Eaves.
