Obituary
Edward B. Oram, colored, died at his home in New Market, Wednesday morning, of general debility, aged 77 years. He was a member of Fredericktonion Lodge, No 12, F. A. M., and of the order of Sons and Daughters of Joshua. He was a painter by trade and much respected by the people of his community. He is survived by his wife, Mary Adelaide Oram; one daughter, Malissa B. Crampton, Coatesville, Pa; six sons, Jesse C., Moulton G., Morris S., and Daniel E, of Baltimore; Laurence O. Oram, Mt. Airy; Fred C. Oram, Harrisburg, Pa; four grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas Oram, Baltimore, and Albert Oram, New Market. Funeral from his home Sunday morning at 11 o'clock standard time. W. E. Falconer, funeral director.
