Mrs. Anna Ferguson, 77, died at 4:40 Thursdav evening at St. Joseph's hospital. Ill only a few days, she had been admitted to the hospital from her home, 324 W. Linden. Born Oct. 27. 1882, in Cass county, she was the daughter of Solomon and Kizzy Martendale Cotner. She was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian church.
Survivors are two sons: Mannie Baker, Tomlinson Road, city; Wilbur Baker, Detroit. One daughter preceded in death and her husband, Harry, died 15 years ago. Also surviving are five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two stepsons: George Ferguson, routes 1; John Ferguson, IlI.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Hester Miller, Macy; one sister, Mrs. Emma Smith, 214 Eleventh; several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Fisher Funeral home, where friends may
call after 7 p.m. this evening.
