Pastor of the San Gabriel Mission from 1991 to 1996. Pastor of La Purisima parish in Orange, California, from 1998 to 2002. Rev. Father Valentin Ramon Lopez, C.M.F., was ordained a Catholic priest of the Claretian Missionary Fathers in Salamanca, Spain, in 1964. He served at parishes in the Philippines, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida and Vietnam. In California, he also served in San Francisco and Fresno. In addition to his service at the San Gabriel Mission, for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles he also served at the parishes of Our Lady Queen of Angels (La Placita) and Our Lady of Solitude (La Soledad).
