Mary Loraine Gray, 74, of Frederick, MD, departed this life on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the Ballenger Creek Center in Frederick, MD. She was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Browningsville (Damascus), MD, to the late Frank Francis Williams and Grace May Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Frank Gray, Sr.; sons; James Gray, Jr. (Diane), Anthony Gray (LeGina), Ernest Gray, Stephen Gray, and Michael Gray; daughter, Stacy Gray; sister, Dorothy Williams-Gaither (John); brother, William Snowden (Earlene); 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister-in-law's, Emenor Sewell and Doris Byrd; brother-in-law's, Alfonso Gray (Betty) and Paul Wayne Gray (Toni); long time neighbors, Sherry, Debbie, Victoria, and David, and Bernice Weedon; and host of family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leo Jackson, Asbury Williams, and Sherman Williams; and 1 sister, Estelle Fisher.
Service will be held on Sat., July 16, 2016, at Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church, 11225 Mountain View Road, Damascus, MD, with a public viewing at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown.
