Estelle Grace Fisher, 78, departed this life on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Shady Grove Hospital, Rockville. Born Nov. 21, 1932, in Damascus, she was the daughter of the late Frank F. and Grace Jackson Williams. She attended school in Montgomery County. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church, Damascus.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Fisher; sons, Casius Fisher, Jerry, James and Charles Pryor; and two brothers, Leo Jackson and Asbury Williams. She is survived by six children, Walter Pryor (Mia), Drucilla Fisher-Cartnail (Ronald), Priscilla Fisher-Dunston (Reginald), Dwight Fisher Sr. (Patricia), Kimberly Fisher-Riggs and Melissa Fisher; and daughter-in-law, Mary. She is survived by two brothers, Sherman Williams (Joyce) and William Snowden (Earlene); two sisters, Dorothy Gaither (John) and Mary Gray (Frank); 42 grandchildren, numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Damascus Methodist Church, 9700 New Church St., Damascus. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Lawrence W. Bryant officiating. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, immediately following the funeral service.
