Funeral services for Mrs. Emilie Karl, 96, formerly of Rt. 3, Two Rivers, who died Tuesday night at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Karl, nee Emilie Eisleben, was born Jan. 28, 1875, in the Province of Saxony, Germany, daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline Welz Bauer. She was married at Norwalk, Wis., to Ferdinand Karl. The family moved to Two Rivers in 1920. Her husband died at Two Rivers in 1934.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Martha) Cretton and Mrs. William (Anna) Koeser of Two Rivers; Mrs. Gilbert (Margaret) Trudeu of Green Bay and Mrs. Robert (Rose) Grenier of Rt. 3, Two Rivers, with whom she made her home for 30 years; a son George Karl of Sturgeon Bay; 17 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where memorial services will be at 7:45 o'clock.
