Peter A. Karl Sr., 86, of 2405 Washington Street, Two Rivers, died late Friday evening, August 23, at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Karl was born September 17, 1898, at St. Mary's, Wisconsin, son of the late Ferdinand and Magdaline Rauner Karl. He attended the district school and was later employed at Hamilton Industries for 44 years as an Inspector of Medical Equipment. He retired in February, 1964. He married the former Viola Simonis on June 24, 1929, at Two Rivers. Mr. Karl was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Viola; twin sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jean of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and Roger and Mary Ann of Palatine, Illinois; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Ray Giomi of Walnut creek, California; a sister, Mrs. Frances Hafeman of Manitowoc and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Peter Jr. in 1964.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Sunday where a memorial service will be at 7 o'clock.
