She was of the Baptist faith. She retired from a steel manufacturing factory in Michigan. She enjoyed crocheting and crafting.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Saunders; son Charles Saunders; brothers, James, “Boots”, and Everett and sisters, Mae Hylton, Frances Kilby and Aline Repass.
Survivors include children, Barbara Saunders of Princeton, Janet Parenteau and husband Bob of Rock Hill, SC and Gary Saunders and wife Cathy of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Laverne Perkins of Lashmeet; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Ronnie Kennett officiating. Those attending are asked to meet at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton by 9:45 a.m.
