1900 census have Solomon and Matilda living in Huntsville Ward #2, Madison County, Alabama. The children listed are Felicia, Janie, Ruby Charity, and Charles.
In 1910 Solomon and Matilda add to the family another girl, Cora, and Jannie Scott, their grandchild. Sadly though, Solomon died October 23, 1910 not long after the census was taken.
Another ten years down the road in New York, Matilda is listed as a widow and several of their children have sub-combed to death also, Felicia having died 2 September 1915, and Charles having died 7 June 1912.
The last census that I find Matilda is 1930 as she now has Ruby Charity living with her, who is now a widow and her sister-in-law Charity Andrews, listed also as a widow also.
Sadly, Matilda passed away to be with her children and her dear Solomon 19th February 1945 (New York, New York City Municipal Deaths, 1795-1949)
