Actress. During the 1940s and 1950s, she appeared in a wide range of films and TV programs. She is remembered for playing 'Sharon Richards' in the TV series "Front Page Detective" (1951 to 1952). Born Tamara Victoria Dubin, she studied at Fordson Junior College, prior to receiving attention as a vocalist with the Detroit Civic Opera. She relocated to New York where she enrolled at the Juilliard School and made a name for herself in modeling. She was spotted by legendary movie mogul Jack L. Warner who signed her to a contract at Warner Brothers. She made her motion picture debut with a minor part in the film "Her Kind of Man" (1946). She graduated to more roles of substance beginning with "Slightly Scandalous" (1946). "Never Say Goodbye, "(1946) opposite Errol Flynn, "The Vigilantes Return" (1947) and "Grounds for Marriage" (1951).
