Daniel “Telekish” Aguilar was born on July 3, 1944, and passed away on August 10, 2019.

Daniel graduated from Fort Sill, OK in 1963. He was a Veteran in the Army and was discharged May 24, 1968. He was an accomplished artist in Native American Crafts. He was a fisherman, hunter, and a cook. He loved watching White Swan Cougar sports, and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Meninick, Antonio Aguilar, Leanne Aguilar, Demetria Aguilar, Joseph Watlamet, Zackary Aguilar, Desiree Aguilar, Jermaine Aguilar and Chance Tillequots; his brothers and sisters, Sandy Kiona, Raymond C. Kiona Jr., James (Ramona) Kiona Sr., Beverly (Gerry) Lewis, Debbie (Eddie) Gunnier, Ralph Kiona Sr., Reamelle (Orrin Jr.) Kiona, Frank (Emla) Kiona, and Gregg (Beatrice) Kiona; and wives, Fedelia Andy, Sherry Watlamet, and Bette Tillequots.

He is preceded in death by his fathers, Joseph Aguilar, Raymond Kiona Sr. and Nelson Moses, his mother Mabel Moses, brothers, Joey Aguilar, and Joseph Henry, sons, Clay Anderson, and Jaime Gamboa, and grandson, Clayton Anderson.

A dressing and overnight services were held Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan, WA. Burial will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 6 a.m. at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery in White Swan, WA.
