Anna Goeser, 91, Devils Lake, died Saturday, October 3, 1992, in Mercy Hospital Devils Lake.

Anna Wengeler was born July 2, 1901, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Wengeler in Banner Township, Cavalier County, N.D. She attended rural schools and moved with her family to Calico, N.D. where she married John Geoser on Oct 12, 1920. They farmed at Calio until 1962 when they moved to Devils Lake. John Goeser died on Jan. 14, 1980. She moved to Lake Region Nursing Home, Devils Lake, on May 26.

Survivors are her daughters, Genevieve (Mrs. Clayton) McLean, Cando, N.D. Viola (Mrs. Gerald) Mayers, Devils Lake, Irene (Mrs. Donald) Stirling, Gardner, N.D., and Diane (Mrs. Richcard) Jundt, Rugby, N.D.; sons Edwin and Eugene, both of Munich, N.D., and Peter, Carlin, Nev. 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, brother George, Fallbrook, Calif.; sisters Rose (Mrs. Chrysant) Goeser and Clara (Mrs. Nick) Hettwer both of Devils Lake and Alice (Mrs. Hilary) Bernardy, Munich. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Munich. Visitation 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, in Burke Funeral Home, Devils Lake, and one hour before services in the church. Burial: St. Boniface Cemetery, rural Calio
