Billy Warren Adair, 87, of Crosby, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Tuscany Living Villas.

He was born October 3, 1931, to Ward and Ida Adair in Lone Oak, TX. At the age of 19, Mr. Adair met the love of his life, Joan. Together, they owned and operated three service stations in the Houston area. He enjoyed showing and training horses and spent many hours teaching both of his children how to excel in riding, jumping, showing, and training. Billy was drafted into the U. S. Army in 1953. Most importantly, he loved the Lord and loved helping others when he was healthy enough to do so. Bill loved and cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren unconditionally.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan Wallace Adair and parents, Ward and Ida Adair.

Billy is survived by his son, Dr. Richard W. Adair and wife, Cynthia of Katy, Texas; daughter, Cynthia A. Lambe and husband, Dr. Greg A. Lambe of Marianna, Florida; grandchildren, Blake Adair (Austin), Jordan Clifton (Grant), Christopher Lambe (Hanna), Grant Lambe (Kala), Cody Lambe (Kendall), and Madison Lambe; four great-grandchildren, Ethann Adair, Dallas Adair, Rowan Adair Lambe and Ella Joan Lambe; sister, Mary Adair Brunson; and many special nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to thank his church family, neighbors, and special friends for always loving him and watching after him.
