Emma Oakley, age 91, of Manitowoc, formerly of Reedsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Shady Lane Nursing Home in Manitowoc.

Emma was born on January 25, 1925 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Ambrose and Anna (Barta) Meyer. She married Harry McMunn on June 26, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1966. She remarried on October 27, 1979 to Alfred R. Oakley. He also preceded her in death.

Emma worked as a boilermaker before her marriage to Harry. After they married, she stayed at home with their children. Once they were grown, she worked as a cook at the Elbow Room for a number of years. She enjoyed cards, bingo, and spending time with family.

Emma is survived by her children: Emma Jean Wakey, Stewart Mc Munn, Josephine Mc Munn, Elaine Cook, Rosalee Mc Munn, Daniel Mc Munn, Lodeen "Tina" (Mike) Kleman, and Joseph Mc Munn; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands: Harry and Alfred; two children: Paul in 1972 and Amy in 1954, and other relatives.

Private services were held.
