DORIS J. STROHFELDT
(1955 - 2014)

Doris J. Strohfeldt , age 59 of Whitelaw, was delivered to her eternal rest on Tuesday morning, December 9th, 2014.

Doris graduated Brillion High School in 1973, worked for Mirro and Ariens Companies, and then became an independent art and craft vendor working fairs throughout the Midwest.

Doris was survived by husband Charles Strohfeldt, daughter Shannon Strohfeldt, son Eric (Jenn) Strohfeldt , four sisters Judy (Wayne) Dunbar, Marjorie (Gene) Goldschmidt, Carol (Harvey) Boeder, Joyce (Richard) Holtz and four in-laws Mary (Karl) Erickson, Paul Strohfeldt, Barbara Torp (Mark Christel), William (Victoria) Strohfeldt, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved Siberian husky Bandit.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Reuben and Erna Schaefer, sister Doris Joan Schaefer, father- in-law Chester Strohfeldt and mother-in-law Elizabeth Strohfeldt; also brother-in-law Randel Torp.

Doris was a talented crafter and painter, and enjoyed many country music festivals, science fiction TV shows, and Native American culture. She had a great love and respect for nature, particularly wolves. She will be dearly missed.

In honor of Doris's wishes a private family gathering will be held.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a Memorial Fund has been established in her name. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the Emergency Room Staff, 3rd floor ICU and Nursing Staff of Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. Also a special thank-you to the Kellnersville First Responders and the Valders Ambulance Service for all of their gallant efforts.
