She was a retired employee of Ransdell Surgical and had worked in the cafeteria at Shacklette Elementary School. She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and attended Jeffersontown United Methodist Church. She was an avid clogger in which she won numerous awards. She loved spending time with her family and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Welsh.
