SPARTANBURG, SC - Reverend Willie F. Lister, 87, of 8440 Taylor-Colquitt Road, died June 30, 1990, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
He was a member of Hayne Baptist Church; was former pastor at Paris Baptist Church, Southern Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Siloam Baptist Church in Anderson and Westview Baptist Church in Greenville; and had been interim pastor at Walnut Hill Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church and Inman Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Cook of Spartanburg; two sisters, Doris Alverson of Campobello, and Elsie Smith of Spartanburg; and two brothers, Carl Lister of Spartanburg and J. P. Lister of Lyman.
Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Hayne Baptist Church with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman.
