Abner Broadus, Jr., 72, of 1351 Hardesty Blvd., died August 25, 1983, at Akron City Hospital, after a short illness. e was born in Shadydale, Ga., and had lived in this community for 60 years. Mr. Broadus was a retired rubber worker at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Friendship Apostolic Church.
