Elaine D. Thomason, age 68, of Ball Ground, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Charles Davis, Rev. Dr. Charles Rolen and Rev. Brian Priest officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19th from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday, September 20th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Elaine was a member of Canton Community Church and the Principal at Community Christian School. She loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey "Skip" Davis; survivors include her husband, Gene Thomason, Jr.; father and mother, Charles and Eva Davis; children, Eve Priest (Brian) and Benjamin Thomason (Kelly); sisters, Lynda Rolen, Charlene Hasty and Carol Ridings; grandchildren, Cana Priest, Jostin Priest, Aiden Thomason, Noah Thomason and Ezra Thomason; several nieces and nephews.
