(1906 - 1987)

Mrs. Mary Rasmussen, 81, of 2002 Forest Avenue, Two Rivers, died late Tuesday morning, April 7, 1987, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. Rev. Roy Crain and Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Rasmussen was born May 6, 1906, in the Town of Two Creeks, daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Assman Krizek. She married Charles Rasmussen Sr. on September 10, 1929 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. The couple settled in the Town of Mishicot until 1981 when Mrs. Rasmussen moved to Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1976. Mrs. Rasmussen had been employed at the Mishicot School System and also worked at Fox Hills for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Two Rivers Senior Citizens.

Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Robert C. and Helen Rasmussen of Mishicot, Ralph J. and Ruth Rasmussen of Kewaunee, Richard Rasmussen of Mishicot, James and Fran Rasmussen of Mishicot and Charles Jr. and Judy Rasmussen of Manitowoc; five daughters and sons-in-law, Violet and Henry Weinberger of Sheboygan, Jeanette and Jerome Korinek of Two Rivers, Darlene and Donald Eisenmann of Mishicot, Jean and Norbert Valenta of rural Denmark, and Kathleen and Frank Pietroske of rural Two Rivers; a half brother, Victor Krizek of Sheboygan; three half sisters, Mrs. Helen Lodel of Two Rivers, Mrs. Rosemary Brickner of Sheboygan and Mrs. LaVerne Mueller of Sheboygan; 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother, Frank Krizek and three half brothers.

Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday where a memorial service will be at 7:15 pm.
