Opal Morrow, 96, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Rushville. Opal was born July 25, 1923 in Wayne County, Kentucky to John and Alice Hurd, both are deceased.
She married Reed Morrow on June 14, 1960. Reed preceded her in death on July 2, 2010. Opal worked several years at the Durbin Hotel.
Opal leaves behind her daughters, Shirley (Robert) Saunders, Martha (Bob) Rains and Peggy (Jim) Glover; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Opal is preceded in death by her brothers, Lee, Art and Vester and her granddaughter, Jackie Messer
Opal's final wishes were to have a private family service. Burial will take place at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Burns Funeral Home in Milroy.
