He was a member of St.Adalbert's Church and a member of the St.Casimir's Society and Local 461, IUE-CIO.
Survivors at the time of his death were his wife, Mrs. Agnes (Seremet) Urban, a son, Matthew Urban of Garwood, a step-son, Stanley Novack of Elizabeth, a daughter, Frances Zygmunt of Elizabeth and two stepdaughters, Mrs.Virginia Primiano of Elizabeth and Cecelia Hume of Albany, NY and three grandchildren.
