Toby Robinson was a black and white Border Collie and this story was told to me by Rita Robinson, her owner.

Toby was born in Nov. 1980 in Grafton. She was dropped off along Rt. 50 in Grafton. A lady that worked for us found her and kept her overnight so she wouldn't get killed along the road.

The next night my husband Walter and I went to look at her. I fell in love at once but a man must have hurt her as she didn't make friends with Walter.

We had just lost our beagle Lady and I wanted Toby so we took her home. We became friends at once and she got me through some tough times when Walter died in 1983. Toby was my best friend and companion.

Toby loved to ride in the car and loved scrambled eggs. In later years she developed kidney problems and seizures. She died just 2 months short of 20 years. It broke my heart and I still miss her so much. She will always be loved.
