Lois T. O'Leske, age 77, of 612 S. 33rd St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
She was born April 8, 1931, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Simon and Martha (Rysticken) Lesperance. Lois was a 1949 graduate of Lincoln High School. On Nov. 26, 1949, she married Norman O'Leske in Manitowoc. Lois owned and operated the Club Bil-Mar with her husband Norman and brother-in-law LeRoy. Most recently she was a sales associate at Younkers.
Survivors include her husband: Norman O'Leske, Manitowoc; three daughters and one son-in-law: Sandra Schwartz and fiancé Thomas Van Horn, Manitowoc, Kristine and David Thomley, Montello, and Barbara Swiggum and special friend Jason Smolka, Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Brenda Funaro, St. Petersburg, Fla., Travis (Dacia) Thomley, Portage, Corrie (Al) Muhowski, Manitowoc, and Chelsey Swiggum, Manitowoc; four great-grandchildren: Taylor, Morgan, Kaden and Marek; one brother and sister-in-law: Vernon and Fraila Lesperance, Lake Placid, Fla.; and one brother-in-law: LeRoy O'Leske, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Lois was preceded in death by one son-in-law: Michael Schwartz; and one sister and brother-in-law: Helen (Jane) and John Mushel.
A private family memorial service was held.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
