William "Bill Ray" Liming, age 82, departed this life on Monday, October 7, 2019 at North Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born May 28, 1937 in Sacred Wind, Kentucky to George Washington Liming and Lillian Boggs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers, Clyde and wife Pauline, James and wife Mary Lou, Clifford and wife Flo, Clarence and wife Naomi, Carl, Chester, and Russell and wife Esther; 5 sisters, Alice, Chloie, Myrtle, Sylvia and Yvonne.
He is survived by life companion Amelia Anne Byrd; sons William Brady Liming and wife Becky, Mark Ray Liming and wife Judy; daughter Theresa Renee May and husband Scott; Five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Friday Evening, October 11, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida. Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday Afternoon, October 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Philip Kazee and Brent Ellis officiating. Music will be provided by the Tunnel Hill Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Liming, Mark Liming, Dale Posey, Jerry Cox, Jeremy Bellmore and David Green.
