Mildred was born January 9 ,1922 in Reedsville, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Jerabek) Burich. She graduated with the class of 1939 from Reedsville High School. On September 30, 1944 she married Raymond J. Orth at Champaign, IL. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1970 Mildred was employed at Aitkin Reed Company and Aluminum Specialty until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis Assisi Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, trips to the casino, playing sheepshead and was a wizard with crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Mary Schulander, Manitowoc; Kathy (Roger) Siebold, DePere; one son and daughter-in-law: Tom (Candy) Orth, Sheboygan; 8 grandchildren: Sean (Jill) Shulander; Becky (Kyle) Borowitz; Ryan (Jen) Shulander, Jody (Drew) Weisse; Melissa (Kevin) Krutzik; Andy (Agnes) Orth; David Orth and special friend Tracy; Shana (Tom) Martindale; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister: Alyce Ott, DePere, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Raymond; one son Artie Orth; 3 sisters and four brothers-in-law: Mary (George) Kanter; Julie (Ray) Grasser; Helen (John) Gosz; Wallace Ott; two brothers and sisters-in-law; John (Delores) Burich; Joseph (Alice) Burich, other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also preceded her in death.

Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St.Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st St, Manitowoc. Rev Dave Pleier will officiate. Burial of her cremated remains will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 noon. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinbold and pfeffer.com
