Albert Baldwin, 77, a Springfield barber who operated his own shop at West Allen street for the last 35 years, died suddenly yesterday at his home.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Morgan county, Jan. 5, 1868, and came to Springfield from New Berlin 40 years ago. He was twice married and is survived by his second wife, the former Octavia Roberts, whom he married Oct. 4, 1937, at Edwardsville. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Maude Johnson, city, and one brother, William Baldwin, city.
Burial at Oak Ridge cemetery.
