Joyce Dean Holcomb, age 83 passed peacefully on April 6, 2019 in Bakersfield, California. Joyce is survived by her son, Greg Holcomb of Bakersfield, CA and her daughter, Vicky Allen of Dallas, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her late husband, James Max Holcomb of Marble Hill, Georgia. Joyce was born on February 29, 1936 in Danielsville, Georgia. Her mother was Ruby Dean also of Danielsville, Georgia. She worked as a computer analyst at Lockheed Aircraft Company for almost 30 years. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She and Max married in 1959 and they had two children, seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She and Max had many cherished friends and she will be remembered as a loyal and trusted friend. Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th at 10am to 12n with service to immediately follow.
