He was born in Grahamsville, on March 3, 1894, son of John and Bertha Slater Galbraith and married Miss Fanny Emma Marcy on Sept. 1, 1910, at Wallkill.
Mr. Galbraith was employed in the Borden milk plant at Wallkill for several years and later at the Dairymen's League plant at Fort Plain and at milk plants at Remsen, Massena and Lowville before coming to Boonville in 1939,. where he was fist employed at the Dairymen's League plant. Prior to his illness, he was employed by the Sheffield Farms Corp.
He leaves his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Bruce Klosner, Boonville; Mrs. Richard Richards, Remsen and Mrs. Clark Phelps, Remsen; two sons, Wilson W. of Oneida and Lincoln B. of Boonville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Hugh of Wallkill and William of New York; a nephew and several nieces.
Burial will be in Boonville Cemetery. Utica Daily Press, Thursday, May 29, 1952
