Altoona Tribune, Thurs. Mar. 17, 1881, p. 4. On Saturday morning George Barroner, son of Mr. John Barroner, of Gaysport, died with scarlet fever. He only lived fifty-two hours after taking sick and was between 12 and 13 years of age, a stout and promising boy.
