Arthur "Buzzy" Weir passed away June 19, 2018, at his home in Taunton, with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Arthur R. F. Weir and the late Reverend Gertrude (Hanson) Weir.

Arthur was a member of the Easton Rod and Gun Club and the NRA. He was also a member of the Berkley American Legion. He was formerly employed by Brockton Tool and Die, Lacombers Service Center, Mitrano Chevrolet and Chadwicks. He enjoyed country music, target shooting, hunting, dancing at the VFW in Taunton, bow hunting in Pennsylvania and Maine and teaching his grandchildren how to shoot.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Judith (Ormerod) Weir; his three daughters, Kimberly Weir-Hebard and her partner James Pitocco, Melissa Weir-Baker and her partner Patrick Lordan and Lisa Weir-Macomber and her husband Christopher; five grandchildren, Paul Hebard and his wife Jennifer, Kyle Hebard, Eric and Bryan Baker and Lauryn Macomber; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Caitlyn Hebard. Also, his two brothers, Richard Weir and his wife Gloria and Carl Weir. Predeceased by his four sisters, Emily Reynolds, Josephine Anderson, Naomi Demaine, Beatrice Beauvais and a brother, Charles Weir.

Visiting hours will be in the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, MA. Burial will be private.
