He married Lavinia Winters on Dec. 21, 1851. They had a daughter named Rachael that was born on 8/16/1855 & died as a young child at 5 years old on 10/4/1860. She is buried with them.
They also had a daughter died in infancy and a foster son named Emanuel Crissinger.
