Adeline Valente died peacefully on April 23, 2007 at the age of 94.
She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She made every day special and the life of her family and friends a little more complete. Her selfless love and sense of family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Survived by five children, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, who adored her.
Visitation will be at the Pelham Funeral Home on Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ursula's Church, Mt. Vernon, NY, on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to, Autism Speaks, 168 Irving Avenue, Suite 500F, Port Chester, NY 10573.
