Anna was born in Germany to George and Lizzie Sering, was confirmed in the Lutheran faith April 2, 1882 and came with her parents to America in 1884.

She married Louis Boston on March 13, 1885.

She was the mother of Lizzie Kindelberger, Anna Bernd, Minnie Laursen, Lena Redinus and Henry Boston.



Anna (Sering) Boston was born Dec. 5, 1867 in Germany, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lena Redenius, in Minonk on Feb. 15, 1932, aged 64 years, 2 months, and 10 days. Death was due to Bright's Disease.

Mrs. Boston was the daughter of George and Lizzie Sering. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 2, 1882. She came to America with her parents in 1884.

Anna was united in marriage in Minonk to Louis Boston on March 13, 1885. They resided on a farm north of town, retired, and then came to Flanagan four years ago in 1928. She and her husband placed their membership in the Christian Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband; four daughters: Mrs. Lizzie Kindelberger of Flanagan; Mrs. Anna Bernd of Maroa; Mrs. Minnie Laursen of Elsie, MI; Mrs. Lena Redenius of Minonk; one son Henry of Flanagan; four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. B. Razer of Tobacco, Mont.

Funeral services were held at 1:15 Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church. Rev. Claude K. Adams, the pastor, conducting.

A quartet composed of Mrs. Anna Linneman, Mrs. Lydia Gable, S. C. Wilcox, and E. T. Latchfield furnished the music, with Mrs. Cleary accompanying.

The pallbearers were A. F. Jenkins, Lee Moulds, John Huxtable, Henry Kutzner, C. O. Knox, and D. L. Meils. Interment is in the Minonk Cemetery.
