May 19, Tommy Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bassett, died Sunday forenoon of membranous croup.
He was nearly seven years old.
The funeral was preached Sunday at four p.m., Rev. J. K. Bloom, the pastor, speaking words of comfort to the bereaved.
Little Tommy will be greatly missed by the kind, loving parents and relatives, but he has gone home above, a treasure to heaven to draw others thither.

Geo Minor, son of Samuel Minor, living three miles north of here, died of Diphtheria. Hew was about fifteen years old. On account of the disease being contagious a private funeral was had.
Both of these bodies were interred in the Baptist cemetery at Rogers Grove. This is twice within the year that two bodies have been buried there on the same day.
