Margaret Katherine Cole, 69, of Princeton died peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. While her health permitted, she enjoyed collecting bells, red bird figurines, especially cardinals. She was devoted to her family and loved her Lord. Margaret was a member of Liberty Baptist Church at Glenwood Park. For 35 years, Margaret worked for Head Start and also for Fink's Cafeteria.

Born March 18, 1945 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Willie Clyde Beckner (1884-1956) and Dora Belle Lilly-Beckner (1899-1968). She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 53 years, Paul Jackson Cole (B. 1939) whom she married on February 13, 1962 in Princeton, Mercer County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Mercer County, WV, 1962, Page 33, Line 41, Application Date: February 10, 1962); four children, Jerry Cole & wife Cindy Cole, Sherry Cole-Seal & husband Noah Howard Seal, Greg Cole & wife Candy Cole, Stacey Cole & wife Velvet Cole, all of Princeton; nine grandchildren, Katherine, Paul, Keith, Howie, Greg, Jimmy, Jeremy, Sarah & Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah & Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2015 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Greg Kinzer and Marvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
