MYRTLE A. ABELN
Myrtle A. Abeln, 69 of Keytesville, died Sept. 22, 1994 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Myrtle was born Mar. 12, 1925 in Keytesville, the daughter of Charles and Pearl A. Ashley. She married Ervin Abeln on Sept. 13, 1973 in Keytesville and he survives of the home.
Myrtle was a life-long Chariton County and Keytesville resident. She was a housewife and a Christian.
Myrtle is survived by her husband; one daughter, Shirley J. Huckaby of Keytesville; four sons, Larry W. Perkins and Lloyd Ray Perkins, both of Houston, Texas, Travis Erickson of Huntsville, and Teddy Erickson of Columbia; four step-children; two brothers, Jesse Ashley of Lee's Summit, and Charles Ashley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sisters, Violet Gunn of Brunswick; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Berry Funeral Home in Keytesville. Burial was in the Keytesville Cemetery.
