DEATH OF MRS. MORTON AT SECOND STREET HOME
After an illness covering several months. Mrs. Alice Morton, formerly of Ft. Pierce, died last night surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs . Morton came here in the hope of her health improving, but the climatic conditions here were of no avail. Mrs. Morton was in her twenty-sixth year, and had acquired scores of friends here, as well as in Ft. Pierce, her former home. The funeral was held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Morton home. Rev. W'm. E. Stanton, of the First Baptist church, officiating, and internment was made In the city cemetery, in charge of V. H. Combs & Co.
