PIONEER DIES IN THE WEST
Mrs. W. B. Murphy has received the sad message telling of the death of a sister, Mrs. Bertha Ridenour Smith in Santa Maria, California, last Thursday. Mrs. Smith is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Granville Ridenour who lived in pioneer days in the Old Lincoln community. She was one of eleven children and her death is the first of the number. A half sister is deceased. Mrs. Smith was a widow and leaves two children. The burial will be today at Globe, Arizona, a former home.
