Rant was my Great Grandfather. He is not buried next to his wife Sarah Margaret Arnold Jacobs due to the fact that other memebers of their family are buried around her and so when he died there was not a grave next to her for him.

Married 11/1/1881 in Pine Level, Florida to Sarah Margaret Arnold. He was the son of William Riley Jacobs, Sr. & Nancy Ann Shelley. Rant married 2nd. to Ellen Sellers Grice and she was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Wauchula.

Rant was born in Georgia. He and Sarah had 13 Children and several are buried here in Hart
