A 5 page, handwritten story of her life, written between the death of her husband in 1963 and her death in 1966, transcribed verbatim, by M. La Nell Shores on 7 July 2004.
"I, Lula Margaret Cunningham Johnson borned May 1 1892 near Gadsden Ala. daughter and second child of George Mark Cunningham & Margaret Malinda Acker Cunningham. My grandparents were John Cunningham & Priscilla Weems Cunningham & Frank Acker and Susan McCain Acker now buried at Bethel Cemetery near Gadsden where they lived. The Cunningham's are buried at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery near Gadsden, Ala where they all lived. My father passed away when I was 8 years of age. ..."

The above autobiography only states that Frank and Susan Acker were buried in Bethel Cemetery near where they lived. It is unknown to me at this time which Bethel Cemetery near Gadsden is their resting place. If anyone has more information, please contact me. M. La Nell Shores

He is listed as age 20 in the 1850 census and age 50 in the 1880 census. His wife is a widow as of census day (Jun 1) 1900.
