To the Memory of JOHN BOARDMAN Esqr who for 23 years fill'd the office of
Grand Treasurer to the Freemasons of Ireland with consummate Knowledge
rigid Integrity and unexampled Zeal He died in London on the 29th of May
1814 whilst on a Mission to the United Grand Lodge of England. This
Monument Tablet is erected by the Grand Lodge to commerate their gratitude
for his Services their Sense of his Virtues and their Sorrow for his loss.
