Our Angel, Nolana Turner Durtschi, unexpectedly returned to heaven on November 14, 2018.

Nolana was born the youngest of nine in Afton, Wyoming on July 15, 1966 to Milton Turner and Nola Hoopes. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in many callings. In 1984 she graduated from Star Valley High school, and attended LDS Business College where she graduated with an Associate's degree in accounting, and met the love of her life while they were singing in the choir. After dating for two years, Nolana married Alan Lane Durtschi on March 20, 1987 in the Jordan River temple. Shortly into their marriage, Nolana was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer. Successfully surviving cancer came with an 80% chance of sterilization. Despite these unexpected obstacles, she and Alan had three miracle children, Sarah, Kimberly, and Merick. Nolana worked as a CTS Account Associate for many years at First Security Bank, and then Wells Fargo when the companies merged. She successfully survived breast cancer in 2010.

Nolana worked hard and played hard, but she loved even harder. Her compassion and giving nature made her well-loved by those who knew her. Nolana was an avid collector. She loved to learn, and had amassed a large library. She was talented with numbers and organization. She was compassionate with animals, and enjoyed sharing crackers and bread with chipmunks, seagulls, and ants. Her favorite hobbies included cross-stitching, watching NASCAR, Hockey, and Dancing with the Stars, and traveling the world with her husband. Her favorite vacation was cruising the Panama Canal, and enjoying sea days relaxing on deck with a cold Mountain Dew. Above all else, she loved her family.

Nolana is preceded by her parents, Milton Turner and Nola Hoopes; and her father-in-law, Gerald N. Durtschi. She is survived by her spouse, Alan Durtschi; her children, Sarah Nicole Durtschi, Kimberly Kay Durtschi, and Merick Alan Todd Durtschi; her daughter-in-law, Skye Alexandra Nicholson Durtschi; her mother in law, La Rae Durtschi; and her siblings, Ross and Beverly Turner, Steven and GayLynn Turner, Norma and Dan Winder, Kae Loy and Wes Hanna, Mark and Michele Turner, Odene and Marlene Turner, Sharil and Tim Malik, Shane and Stephani Turner, Linda and Brian Frenette, Brad and Diane Durtschi, Anna and Will Triplett, Blake and Teresa Durtschi, and Gail and Ken Cushing.

Services will be held Saturday, November 24th at the LDS chapel on 261 East Center Street, in North Salt Lake, Utah.
