March 4, 1862 in CSA then he transferred to Company ' F ' 47th Regiment, Georgia Infantry
May 12, 1862 to Company ' A ' 1st Battalion, Georgia ( Sharpshooters )
July 30, 1862 and was killed in the Battle at Chickamuga on September 19, 1863 ..
Daniel and Rhoda are thought to be buried in Appling County, Georgia ..
