Funeral of Mrs. Major
Special to the JOURNAL.
MAXWELL, May 25.--On Wednesday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Wm. Major of southeast of town. Mrs. Major has been an invalid for some time and her death was not unexpected. The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home, conducted by Rev. Roberts of the Christian church.

Mrs. William Major living near Peoria city died last Wednesday morning. The funeral services were held in Peoria City and burial in Peoria cemetery. Mrs. Major has lived nearly all her life in this vicinity and while she was a retired disposition she had many friends who mourn her loss and the husband and children have our sympathy.
