Prior to her burial, it appears that Corinne's amputated leg was shipped to the U.S. and was buried 2 Nov 1896 in an unmarked site in Section 36, Lot 416 of the Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York. Why this was done and why the leg was not buried close to the Green-Wood graves of her parents, husband, or infant son is unknown.
